Little white specs

I notice some little white specs the other day when i was feeding. They are all over the front glass. Its like a little spec with about 4-6 little feelers coming off of it. I would take a pic but they are way to small for my camera to focus in on. Is this what they call copepods?

yeah, if i cant get an answer before the weekend, im gonna scrub the sides down really good and do a w/c.

sounds like asterina stars?

no, i dont think its asterina stars. Those look like a sea stars. What ive got is a small spec with like 4-6 more like tentacles coming off it.

So like a starfish at all? Such as a mini/micro brittle star? or something completely different and not a starfish?

yeah i think it looks nothing like a starfish. One little white spec the size of a pen head with little hair like tentacles coming off of it.

i think you may be right on this one, i found some related forums on this and it sounds like the same thing. From what im reading, they are harmless and will eventually go away...i hope
