Little White Worms

My desktop betta tank(2.5gal with palm filter) is infested with tiny white worms. They look like larvae. My Betta has been lethargic for a while.. i just put him in a cup and he looks bad. I added 3 tablespoons of bleach to the tank to kill the worms. If Betta is alive tomorrow I'm going waterchange, dechlorinate, put some new charcoal in the filter, and put him back.. Providing the worms are dead.



Anybody know what they might be. They are tiny seemingly white worms. nearly microscopic.

Those sound like planaria. They are harmless but usually thrive in tanks that are overfed. Water parameters could be good for the planaria but bad for the betta
