hahaha, I got 10 lbs of frozen ones from dan in the freezer. much easier than keeping live ones. the wife isn't too happy about the freezer thing though :irked:

i was thinking of buying frozen but I heard Live is better for them? Any truth to that? And whats the difference between black/blood worms?

I don't know how they compare nutritionally, but my ray has been on frozen blackworms with an occasional live earthworm for a year with no problems... I've tried a little to switch him to shrimp and massivore but it hasn't worked yet. He devours a whole cube of blackworms twice a day though. This amount would be a lot to maintain with live ones.

If I'm not mistaken, blood worms are insect larvae and blackworms are actual aquatic worms.
