Live bloodworms

Not sure if this helps but I've gotten lots of bloodworms from bloodwormdepot.com for fishing purposes. Shipped right to me with no problems. They are in Maine though.

Live bloodworm can harbour parasites and disease. Much better off with frozen.

I believe you're referring to blackworms which are found in stagnant waters like in ditches. The bloodworm industry has been aquacultured for decades now. And, while there is a common parasite occasionally found in bloodworms (Gordius) it is an insect parasite and does not parasitize fish.

Bloodworms can live in stagnant water too and since I can't be sure where they come from then I personally wouldn't take the risk of introducing any nasties to my tank. The average bag of bloosworms from a lfs where I live usually consists of about 50% live bloodworms and the rest is made up of dead/dying ones and random other pondlife. I once found a damselfly nymph in a bag and also a small diving beetle.
