ive always heard malawi setups are a bit tougher than your typical cichlid setup... any truth to this?

btw did i see a malawi eye biter in there?.... i used to own one but it was just silver..pretty ugly honestly but i found it in a tank at walmart and brought it home with no clue as to what it was.
