Live Feeders for rays.

Does anybody use feeders for there rays on occasion? I have been feeding worms and my ray loves them. I would like to see him try to hunt for food. Also to try to give a variety of diet. What is the safe way to QUARENTINE them? I do not want to risk infection.

Ghost shrimp are great live foods you can feed your rays, you can quarintine them in a 10 gallon tank with a sponge filter. Feed them whatever vitamines and what not before feeding them to the rays. Also could go with small crayfish if your ray is a little bigger.

How long should they be in this tank before feeding. Do I need to add meds?

I think you can just keep them in a tank alone for like 2 weeks.

I would not reccommend feeding live fish cause of the concern from disease and parasites. If you do want to feed them quarantine for 2 weeks and they have to be treated for parasites and other diseases not sure what to use since i wont feed any live fish in my system.
