Live feeding Opinions?

Hi All so I've been feeding my piranhas live fish that people have been putting up for Re-homing on gumtree for cheap or free obviously I don't tell them it's for a piranha to eat but I have taken like Flowerhorn, Goldfish , Cichlids , Mice etc , but I recently took a Dovii cichlid from a woman which was about 9 inch big and I put it in with my Piranha and it's actually co living with my piranha although the Piranha bit m it's lips off and tail pretty much is gone so I'm not sure whether I should take the Dovii out as I've not had any experience with Dovii or knowledge of them?

If the dovii is that fked up alrdy I would honestly end it’s suffering.
euthanize it and if you don’t want to be wasteful cut it into smaller pieces and feed the piranha
 
Your trolling points to some dark truths. Most pet fish don't get rescued, most fish don't live long enough to out grow their tanks due to issues both with production and end users and disease, aggression, and just plain bad luck too. The better breeders and/or vendors have better numbers I'm sure, but I've got my doubts that a majority of the best breeders' fry grow up to make more fry and then die of old age, and those fry all go to happy homes with lots of space and super low nitrates and enrichment.
If there is an ugly job that must be done a scary pervert will be made to at least find some pleasure in it.
