Fishguts long time no see lol. I voted for Prepared because thats what I usually feed but I will feed live foods.

haha. For real what im getting at is alot of mfkers own payara whiich for the most part dont eat anything at all but live fish so when these payaras get to be 2 or 3 feet there not going to be satisfied with small feeders but alot of peeps are going to be so surprised to see such a large payara such you could drop any large feeder in its tank and peeps are going to be like that was awesome but seem to frown when other common fish are fed large fish. thats what im trying to get at.

Good luck getting much response on that one. Try referring to the human aspect of it all. The MAJORITY of people would be against feeding live popular fish for purposes of thrill or bragging rights. What is the point of feeding an arowana or oscar to some ravenous fish? Nothing at all. It is just not necessary.

Allowing those vids of people standing around the tank watching a helpless popular fish slowly getting killed is immature and unnecesary and is NOT what MFK is all about. That fish that is "something bigger" mostly gets chomped on over and over and dies a slow death rather than goldies or rosies that get inhaled. Why not just feed it something that is readily available at market such as tilapia or salmon or equivalent?
