Live food for Black piranha

Hi All so I've been feeding my piranhas live fish that people have been putting up for Re-homing on gumtree for cheap or free obviously I don't tell them it's for a piranha to eat but I have taken like Flowerhorn, Goldfish , Cichlids , Mice etc , but I recently took a Dovii cichlid from a woman which was about 9 inch big and I put it in with my Piranha and it's actually co living with my piranha although the Piranha bit m it's lips off and tail pretty much is gone so I'm not sure whether I should take the Dovii out as I've not had any experience with Dovii or knowledge of them?

Not telling people the truth before taking their pets, to rehome is equivalent to cheating all those people.
