live food for my black ghost knife

I have been feeding on occasion earth worms to my black ghost knife. Are these bennefitial to the knife at all, or are they just filler. I also supplement with frozen krill,blood worms, and brine shrimp along with shrimp pellets.

ps. my bgk just goes nuts when I put a worm in the tank for him. the worm doesn't even make it to the bottom of the tank.

I'm pretty sure it's beneficial to the BGK. Wild fish live off worms. So it can't hurt them in captivity...unless you live by a raw sewer. High in protein, so it'll help it grow quick. Other than that...I'm not too sure of nutrition value of an earth worm.
