ive read enough posts on here to question my beleifs on anything ive ever read about my sharks before i bought them. the only source ive really seen for suggestions on foods is my sharks and rays book scott michaels which everyone seems to trash.in his book he recommends live fish to entice feeding such as guppies, molies, cardinals, damsel, plaice is this a good or bad idea? mine are eating especially one of them ive tried silver sides, frozen squid, and fresh snapper. they will only seem to eat if they are not hiding and i can get it to the front of there heads with tongs. i would like to truy fresh to see if i can provoc a feeding responce which entiles them going after the food as apossed to me sticking it in there faces. thanks for any feed back, new to this site but loving all the info!

I've done live as enrichment before. As long as they are "clean" you're good to go. My old blacktips LOVED chasing down food. Nothing got them stirred up like a few live fish to hunt. Carpet sharks love hunting shrimp and things like that. Lobsters for those that are big enough to take them as well.
