My male Jag isn't eating as much as he had been pre-spawn. I'm thinking about throwing him a feeder or two, but there's a few hundred fry in the tank. Anyone think this might start a feeding frenzy?

Nope Jaguars are good parents. They won't eat their young. How about some frozen blood worms instead though if you are worried?

At some point you will probably have to remove the parents because they will more than likely start eating fry. But they do know the diffrence between there fry and feeders

No go on bloodworms. I think I'll toss in a feeder or two. Smitty - do you know if the fry have to be a certain size before I can separate them of can I do it at any time after free swimmers?
