How many folks feed live foods to your Natives???
i typically never do that, but recently i went dipping for baby sunfish or whatever lol, and caught tons of gambusia (Mosquito fish) out of a local lake. Brought about a hundred home dumped them in my warmouth, Longear tank and they all disappeared in a few days, im thinkin this should keep my wild fish happier because its closer to what they get in nature, and they seem to love-em, and they are FREE !!!

I feed night crawlers, crickets, red wigglers, wax worms , crayfish, plus the ocasional live fish ( not sure of exact species , just what ever the seine drags up lol )

and I also want to note that I do feed them pellets as their staple but want to keep giving them live food since it is what they would eat in the wild...

I feed locust, crickets, meal worms, wax worms , crayfish and the ocasional live fish ( platys, guppies, goldfish, mollies etc. ) and I also want to say that I do feed them pellets as their staple but give them live food because they love it

I keep pelets as a staple but I feed my bluegill and channel cat nightcrawlers, crickets, spiders, various small fish I catch.

I feed live in 2 circumstances, first when I'm trying to work them on prepared foods, and then every now and then as a treat. I don't give them live all they time as I don't want them to start refusing prepared since in Maine we have a rather long winter and live is not always readily available except from the pet store.

yea i feed my bluegill feeders 12 for $1. and night crawlers... whatever i can find. is a warmouth like a largemouth bluegill?

I feed a lot of live daphnia and trout worms when i can get them. i have raised brine shrimp to adults in vats as food too. I like to feed live food but it can be iffy and it pays to make sure your fish will eat prepared foods as well.

ok not to be rude lol but all that yellow is pretty distracting...

i sometimes feed live food but i also like to pellet train them
