Live from Baltimore it's, Fossorochromis rostratus!!!

My big boy shining in the spotlight!
He's pushing 11-12" right now. And he's about 2.5yrs/old (yes, it takes that long for these guys to mature)
It wasn't till about a month or so ago when he exploded in color. He has a female in the tank with him now, but no activity just yet.

We have to fossies, our larger male colored up very nicely at about 1 year. The other remained silver and smaller for another 18 months.

Now the other one that we thort was a she is a he and colored up last month and to boot is growing again at around 10+ inches now. I will need to trade one off for a girl before they destroy my tank
