As far as nutrition goes, they do have a lot of chitin compared to their size, but they are high in protein (around 50% I believe). The ones I have right now are about 1" long, but I should have another batch of smaller ones soon. I keep them around room temperature, but at this temperature, they need to be fed, watered, and will metamorphose into beetles. If kept refrigerated, they'll last you a few weeksCan you give me the scoop on mealworms? How does there nutritional value compare to other foods? How big are they? I have medium sized cichlids which I am guessing would have no problem with them and I also have grow outs that range in size from 1 - 2 inches. And finally, how long do they keep and in what conditions do you store them?
