Live plant question

I got some jungle val in the mail about a week and a half ago they melted alot I left some bad leafs on them but they are growing lil new leafs that mean there doing good?

This is normal actually for alot of species of Val's. They will melt when transplanted. Just be sure to leave the root and base of the plant. I recommend making sure the substrate has some good food for them via some root tabs. They will come back and grow. There are several plants ive seen do this. Crypts are another one ive seen this with regularly.

I moved them a few mins shoo think I had them ok but just to be sure I have them in Eco anchors barely under sand they wanna come up easy so I put a few smAll rocks on the anchors

They picked at them when I first got them but don't really bother them that much anymore
