does anyone use live rock in their sumps instead of the plastic bio media for filtration for their rays here? i have decided to do a cortez or yellow spotted ray large set up hopefully it will be
completed by the winter of this year but right now its just on the ground getting started.
i am also debating on using acrylic or fiberglass as the actual tank where the rays will in. i have use one fiber glass one before with regular bio media the plastic bio balls but had alot of issues
with the water qaulity in the inital start up of the tank i do still have the 180 stand though i thought maybe i could use it for the sump part and have the tank below it is this feasable? i am not
new to sw either i have kept sehorses, puffers and anemomes before.
i didnt know where to post this.
