I've got some rubble rock laying around in my 75 gallon reef tank. Can I add this to my canister filter? It would still act as a place for bacteria to grow. I'm just concerned if it is going to need light. In that case its a no go.
yes it will definatly work. from a filtration point of view LR works better without light as light will encourage algea to grow on the surface therefore compromising its effectivness.
