By the Keys they sell aquacultured live rock taken by Isla Moralda . Not cured but chuck full of live

I ordered 30 lbs of their premium LR for $99. I got one huge 20lb piece, 2 smaller pieces & some rubble. I wound up selling the big piece--wouldn't fit right in my tank. I had to cure it for 2 weeks.

I bought 2 45lb boxes from them, and I was really happy with it, nice sized pieces, as well as unusual shaped and smaller pieces, it arrived damp, and still smelled fresh. I would buy from them again, especially when they have their shipping sale.

Their live rock can be great! I have purchased hundreds of pounds from them. The main thing is, that it IS NOT CURED! Unless you have an EMPTY aquarium that you have cycled, and a wicked good protein skimmer, you need to cure it in a separate tank and then add to your aquarium. Don't do what I did and say, "Oh, what could curing do? If I keep an eye on it and change the water once a week, it should be OK." If you do, only the hardiest of species will survive.

lol I am sure you recall the "sweet" fish smell which seemed to last forever .

My brother in law bought rock from them it was cured think you can ask for cured or they carry some cured types?

They said mine was cured--bought the most $$$ premium rock they had. It took weeks to cure. Said there were all sorts of life on it--that took months to grow.
