live rock in freshwater tanks

hey guys
if i soaked live rock from a reef tank for a few days
would it be ok to put in a frehswater tank?

No. If the hitchhikers die from the sudden change in salinity levels, expect the ammonia and nitrites to spike. Liverocks have no place in a FW setup.

Dead live rock should be fine. it buffers the water though, like holey rock.

if you have some expensive live rock you want to destroy please give it to someone who has a saltwater tank who would like to keep the live rock live
