I looked at my live rock today and I saq that there was algae growing on it should i scrape it off or leave it on?

i would say leave it and see what'll happen to it.

its been there for a while but it looks kinda grose almost like fish poo

it's a matter of taste.If you don't like it you can take it out,but there are some fish that will eat it. It's up to you.

How long has your tank been cycled. Also please post how long your system has been running and your system setup.
