Live sand made tank extreamly cloudy help!

Im sure many other people have had this problem. But after adding live sand to my tank its very very cloudy any tips on how to clear it up? or do i just let it sit for a couple days

Give it a couple of hours or days. What i use to do was cut up some filter pads and place them into my filter to make it go away a wee bit faster.

How did you add it? Sand will easily cloud your water, "live" or not. Leave the pumps off and let it clear out, it may take two days.
