So I am setting up my sump/refugium and 30" in the center of the tank is going to be like a mini tank under the display tank. So on to my question, is there a significant benefit to using Miracle Mud over Live sand for your refugium. What I have notice is that Miracle Mud cost substantially more than live sand. I would like to grow copepods in my refugium for my fish to snack on also. I don't know if that affects weather I use sand or mud either. Thanks for any help in advance!
