Does anyone know of a place to pick this up for a good price? Im going to be doing reef setup later this year and I am want to do all my homework and have everything worked out in advance, that way I can save my self a little bit of money.

In my experience the "Big Box" stores will generally have the best prices on hardware. I try to avoid them for livestock though, but money is money and if the fish is healthy and the price is right...

Yea Lowe's sells play sand for about $3 a 50lb bag. Use that with a 50/50 mix of dry agronite sand from a LFS and it will be live in a few months. I do this with my tanks and it works great. Buying bagged live sand is a huge waste of money.

I may have been mis-understood when I said "Big Box", I was referring to PETCO and PetSmart, more PETCo since I don't think PetSmart sells salty stuff.

But you are correct about LOWES and Home Depot.

Just to clarify :D
