I wanted to share my bad experiences with UPS shipping through LiveAquaria. I placed an order on Thursday August 23rd for Saturday delivery. Package never arrived Saturday. It arrived Monday. Both fishes were DOA. LiveAquaria refunded me for the fishes and Saturday delivery cost. The package was supposed to go from Los Angeles, where LiveAquaria ships from, to San Jose CA where I live. It instead went to Louisville, KY before coming back to Northern Cali. WTH? Louisville?
Fast forward to today. I gave them another chance and placed another order for the same fishes since they just came back in stock. The order was supposed to come today, Saturday 9/15/18 by 12pm but it hasn't and I'm still waiting for it. I called UPS and the agent said there's still a chance it might come today when they miss the delivery time. Yeah right! That's what another agent told me the last time this happened. I have a feeling this order also got routed through Louisville, KY. I hate UPS!!! They really need to fix their Saturday delivery system/method. I will no longer buy through LiveAquaria for Saturday deliveries and I told them this. They need to switch to Fedex or something else for Saturdays. For the second time, some innocent fishes will die for no good reason.
I'd advise anyone ordering for Saturday delivery to Northern Cali to not do it. It might get routed to Louisville, Ky. This is only if the fish is coming from their So Cal facility.
