would this work?

endler x guppy = EG (endler guppy)
EG x molly = BE (big endler)
BE x swordtail = STBE (swordtailed big endler)

if this works i could be in for some big money, Endlers are only bought from websites not LFS. Even if thid doesn't work, endlers go for large amounts of money because they arn't common. I can buy them off a website for 6 smackers and sell them for 15 +.

Let me know what you think.

endlers are pretty cheap around here and im not sure that it is possible for them to breed like that even tho they are both livebearers

Endlers are just really unique guppies, so those two will breed. I know that Guppies will breed with Mollys.. plenty of people have "Gollys" or "Muppies".. but the trick is getting them to live for a long enough time to breed them. I don't know if they would breed to a Swordtail..

I'll do some reading up. It'd be pretty mad if you could breed a guppy with a swordtail.

Can some of you guys out here that have made livebearer hybrids tell me the fish you crossed. I imagine that some fish will be able to mix with a swordtail.

You know there's a much easier option, though? It would take considerably longer, but purchasing Swordtail endlers is pretty easy. You can get double swordtails for $2 each around here, or $3.50 for a pair. Singles are about the same. And then you breed them and keep the largest, and then the largest from that brood. It'd be much easier, and yield the same result.

You can cross platies with swords, as the two are almost genetically indistinguishable. As for Endlers, theyre pretty common and cheap where Im from and in constant supply, but I think that they are usually passed over for the larger more visible guppy. That said, I sincerely doubt you'll be able to get past guppy/Endler because of the size difference but I could be wrong. Good luck with it, Id definetely love to see some fry if you manage it!

This is great, plattys will breed with swordtails and mollies breed with plattys! yay

On wednesday I'll head off to get some little 1.8 gal tanks for breeding.

When you breed gups x moles. Make sure its a female molly. When a female guppy releases fry when crossed with a molly, the fry are larger than regular guppy fry. When she releases them her insides become twisted and broken and can cause haemeroage. Also death.

So its this sole reason to cross a male guppy with a female molly.
