livingstonii/african pike and an ornate bichir

hi,i own a 100 gallon tank with just my 12" african pike in at the moment.

do you think the following tankmates would work???

1 x livingstonii approx 5"

1 x ornate bichir approx 8"



the african pike is cool with anything that doesnt look like it.or.that it cant fit in its mouth and eat it

all help greatfully recieved


the ornate is a definite as i want something for the bottom of the tank and the pike has had bichirs for tankmates before.im not sure about the livingstonii though.any other suggestions for a tankmate for the pike and ornate???

In my experience, bichirs and africans dont mix. My mbuna wned: the hell out of my senegal, and i think your livi might have a problem with it, but it may be worth trying.

it COULD POSSIBLY work, but i think 9 times out of 10 african cichlids just dont mix, they are far too aggressive.
