Sweet, gotta love LMB!

yup he or she is a hog compared to the other one i got which is at school they were raised together but when i brought them home over winter break the one i got, got aggressive and tore up the other ones fins. maybe cuz they were in to small of a tank 29 gal, lol oh well there fine now

great looking lmb and channel. hope you upgrade soon, they grow pretty fast. i would do some research on smallies before you get one. they are highly territorial, need cool water and rocky substrate, as well as wide open spaces to swim around to their heart's content. lmb are the opposite on the other hand. they prefer slow moving warm water with weeds. they both get very large and to keep them both together, you would need 300+ and thats not even mentioning the channel cat. hope this helps and congrats on the lmb

yeah i now alot about smallies but they do and can coexist. iam not worryed about the size of the largie and smallie as much as the CC and the wiper.ive been looking at 1,000+ gal pools at walmart lol

My cousin has been holding 4 LMB for me that I bought back in late summer. They were 3" when I gave them to him, and just like yours one of them has become a monster. It is easily twice the size of the others. Im thinking it might be a female and the others are male. Either way, Ive got a 350g acrylic tank on its way to me from Tenecor. Nice big sump, long overflow, all the goodies. Its gonna be real nice. Once it is cycled and fish ready I will be taking 1-2 of those LMB back and they get to go in the 350. Cant wait!

its a large canister marineland, about a foot and a half tall lol. i looked for the box, but couldnt find it, iam not sure what exact model it is. it was bigger then needed thats all i remember. when and if i get the smallie iam gonna add a large power head

cool sounds good. mine started out as 1 inchers i had over 25 minimum you could buy, anyways i rasised some to about 2 or 3 inchers and there was quite a few that were bigger then the rest i released all but three into me and my friends pond. Some how I lost one the first week it was about 3 times the size the other two. then that month i netting a bunch of small shad i thought of these would be cool to go with them when these are big enough so i seperated the tank shad on one side bass on the other well after a few days with no problems the shad slipped over to the othere side and were killed by the bass so i went and got a CC a week later
