  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Paul Sachs @ Sachs Aquaculture usually has them as well as lots of others, will ship and is very reliable.

i hope you arent planning to keep them together in a tank. smallmouth are more territorial and require colder water than largemouth. also, may i ask why are you asking about getting all these young natives?
what size tank do you have?

Yeah whats up with too many questions about native fishes? Just how big your tank? Hope its not 75gal or smaller tank.

they will do fine-but smallies like water with a current tho were as lmb perfer non current-that temp theory i dont think thats so and if so they still will do fine together,i did it for 11 monthes with no problem-everybody seems to think natives are just like cichlids and they are not-cichlids will literally fight were as the natives i never seen them lock lips but i will say they run down on each other

ITS JUST MY OPINION AND MY EXPERIENCE AS A ALMOST EVER DAY FISHERMAN AND MY FIRST TANK BEING FILLED WITH NOTHING BUT NATIVES

Oh SMB are aggressive than LMB trust me. Ive seen a 8 inch SMB beat up 10inch green sunfish at the bait store aquarium and the SMB have all fish include LMB in a corner in the tank where the SMB have all tank to itself. But again its all personalities.

oh yes smb are more aggressive illl say pound for pound they might be the strongest native on the east coast and yes they will scare other fish but i never seen them lock lips tho

so, are you planning on telling us what size tank you have, snakeheadsrawesome?
