LMB/Dovii playmates????

Is there a reason for this? Just asking so i can
learn. Is one more aggressive than the other?

Its funny they look at each other thru the glass
 
There are no playmates with a Dovii, It may seem so in the begining but in the end the Dovii would murder the bass. I have seen folks put in a Dovii in there community tank, they tell me oh he is fine, he doesnt bother anyone. Later on he tells me some of his fish are missing or have marks on them, then they start showing up dead or stressed. In the end, the Dovii will be the last thing in the tank, 95% of the time. I did however have a 15" Dovii that got his butt whooped my a 15" black shark, but it could always go either way. I would pass on this idead.

Mainly because they have different temperature needs, but also because they will fight to the death.

Black sharks tend to do the same thing as dovii though, grow up ok with tankmates and then suddenly start picking them off...
