guys, my LMB's started to feed very slowly. Before, 50 guppies will be consumed in less than a minute. i have 12 of them by the way, averaging around 6 - 10 inches. i gave them just around 30 guppies 3 days ago, but up till now, there are still guppies on the tank. and i've noticed that their tummies are not filled like they usually are. i dunno what's wrong with them or if this is normal. the weather by the way here in the philippines change from the past months, from warm to cooler because of the season. its around 24'c as to compared to 34'c the past few months. dunno if these are the factors affect their feeding or others that i may not know of.

guys your experience on the matter will be appreciated. thanks

It helps not feeding so much maybe like 4-5 per bass per day.

My guess is the temperature. I do some bass fishing, and have studied fish, and Bass do tend to become more of an opportunistic feeder in colder weather. They'll still feed, but only if the food pretty much swims up to it. They become sluggish in colder waters and won't actively feed as much.

Oh man i sure do miss my LMB... Yes it is ture about them feeding less in the winter months, Even if they temp set high. You could also feed them less... they can be good with 2 small feeding a week. I think

I agree with the above, but will also add that bass concentrate more on larger prey as they grow. Try offering a larger feeder fish.

Where did you get your bass from,do the lfs' carry them or are they stocked in private ponds, just curious?

Privite lakes n ponds... Not soo privite... haha. When i had mine i fished for him... The lake said nothing about catch a release

cool way to get fish. I"ve been thinking of doing that with some trout around here....... I'd have to keep it on the quiet side though :)
