LMB just spins

I have a 4" LMB that just spins at the top of the tank. He has done it for days. He will go down...grab a feeder...and then back to the top where he struggles to stay upright. I will set him upright when I walk by. The other 2 LMBs come up beside him and he rights himself.

What can be done? I know he probably will not make it much longer if something isnt done.

Sounds almost like whirling disease, or could be Largemouth bass virus(lmbv). He more than likely will not make it, and it might spread to your others. Get him into a quarantine tank or dispose of him quickly.

I know nothing about natives....but did you make those up?

Thats good. You did the right thing. Sorry to be joking around on your thread (especially being a serious one), but that guy's response was. Like I said before, I don't know anything about natives. If I could of helped you, I would have. It sounded like he was on his way out, anyway. I'm not sure there was a whole lot you could do.
