LMB parasite?

I just caught this bass today and threw him in my 150g tank. He is about 4inches long. I noticed a yellowish blotch in his tail. Is this a parasite? Will it affect my other fish in the tank? Will it affect him? Will it go away over time?

My smallmouth used to have one of these. I never really found out what it was but it eventually went away.

not sure but I heard about a yellow parasite on bass that crawls into the fish's spine.
