what kind of fish can coexist with a LMB? i know alot prolly depends on the individual temperment of the fish but what are some suggestions? i have a bullhead that i would like to try but dont really want either to die. maybe some central american cichlids maybe?thanks

bullheads would work fine, sunfish also work good as well as pikes

if it can fit in its mouth it will get eaten, even if it doesn't fit it will still try, mine 5 incher ate a 3.5inch peacock. But bullheads and sunfish will work and chichlids will befine as long as they are big.

do you guys have any ideas for some colourful, sorta personable, temperature hardy cichlids that will coexist.most of my fish when i move them become scared of me again and i want another fish that isnt shy so they might follow the example...

No cichlids. Just get some other centrarchus, the orangespotted sunfish, green sunfish, or pumpkinseeds are very colorful, and very interesting. And they would get along with your bass more or less. Most CA/SA cichlids just aren't as agressive as the LMB, and will be terrorized by them.

OK.What about perch maybe? i know some people have had their LMBs kill them but if they were bigger than the LMB...? al the sunfish i have ever had were always really shy so idk if i really want to go with them.

Really? Mine aren't shy at all. Alway's begging for food!
By perch I'm assuming that you mean yellow perch, correct? If so, you could probably have a few in there, but you wouldn'nt want to have just one. They like to school, and would feel much more comfortable in a group. You could also have a Grass Pickeral, or maybe some crappie.

well the temp you would have to keep your tank at for the cichlids, would be much to warm for a lmb. try and stick to the natives when you do natives. good rule with these guys, and im just repeating what was already said...if it can ALMOST fit in their mouths...they will try!

all my sunfish come up and eat out of my hand, they are not shy at all

Shoot, anything can work with a LMB. I even had them with dats, PbaSS, Arow's, RD, lima, blue gills, flowerhorn, bullheads, fronts, convicts, JD,...and some other fishes. gREAT pets.
