i just installed a Fx5 on my small tank 60g, last night i set the pump to do half its speed, i think. This morning i saw him right by the intake swimming backwards. He say up in the intake flow and swims... like you would see a trout do or a salmon in a stream. really odd? i thought bass liked calm place to relax?

My LMB does it occasionally. Probably just to stretch himself. Do as Chad said and give him somewhere to relax, you'll prob still see him in the flow sometimes.
