funny thing is the shark always schools with them too!

did the one with the split stripes always have that, or did it just happen later as it grew?
Either way nice loaches, can't wait till mine start putting on size.

I think that it grew that way. If you look at the third picture, the loach in the middle and the loach on the very right have orange spots at the top of their bars, me thinks that they are beginning to split!!!

do your clowns ever use their eye spurs

I had a school of six 8-10in. clown loaches in my CA/SA community and they used to stab my 14in. dovii at the time in the sides with there spurs like 2 clowns and each side of him and he would swim around the tank WILDLY thrashing and splashing tryin to dislodge them, i never saw any blood or any ill-affects from the dovii or the clown

just kinda cool to watch in my opinion
