Loach Compatibility

My LFS has some loaches that are labelled "multi-stripe." I googled it, and apparently these are the same thing as Yunnanilus cruciatus. I'd like to bring some home, but I already have a group of five dwarf chain loaches that very busily roam the bottom of my tank. Does anyone have advice/ experience about compatibility of these two species?


I've also considered purchasing a Golden Nugget Pleco for this tank, so . . . does anyone know if that fish would be compatible with my dwarf chain loaches? (I have a couple of sterbai corys in there as well.)
 
How big is the tank? I dont see it being a problem if you have the space and if you have a group of each species. They appear to have a very similar tempermant as most smaller loaches. just make sure you qt them and treat them before putting them into your main tank. BTW take care of those dwarf chains.. im pretty sure they are an endangered species now.
 
It's only a 28-gallon tall. That's one reason I was hesitating, since the dwarf chain loaches are so incredibly hyper.
 
I have a L18 gold nugget I'm my tank with 6 zebra loaches as small as 1". The Nugget Doesn't move much from his cave an even if the loaches swim through. There are problems. Id say go for it
