I think it might be S. Berdmorei, but after taking these shots yesterday, I'm not sure:confused:
Seems to be showing more spots than stripes.

It's a Syncrossus Beauforti - Chameleon Loach in my opinion. It appears to be a close cousin of the Berdmorei collected from the same region. Based on what I read, S. beauforti is classified as 'Near Threatened' by the IUCN

In short, Nice pickup!

But.... if the stripes come back, then it may be what you guessed it was from the start, :D

IMO if it was S. Berdmorei on that dark substrate its vertical bars would be showing more. I think its a stunning fish right now and a great pick up. would be nice to see an update.
