I bought a loach, about 1.5 inches, form my closing LFS on Thursday. The new loach acclimated nicely, and I fed them that day. I was busy with school all day friday and fasted them friday. I went in today to do a water change and i couldn't find my new loach!!!! Then i realized loaches were jumpers...right? There were gaps in the tub lid and I think that the loach jumped out and my cat ate it. It's the only thing i can think of that makes sense. Unless my loaches went crazy during the two days and skelatanized him. I am really upset about it but i didn't really have time to get attahed to him/her. I covered all the gaps as soon as i could a few minutes ago but I'm kindof at a loss for words.... Do any of you guys have any other theories???
