I may be picking up another 55 gallon in a day or two and I'm probably gonna set it up to grow out some clown loaches for my 300.

I've decided against fresh water rays but want some colorful fish for the bottom of my large tank. Clowns seemed a good option.

But also in the near future I may need space to grow out some Kribensis fry. Does anyone know how clowns would do with fry? They would be small clowns. Probably 8-12 of them.

Thoughts?

Humm. So I guess I might grow the fry up a bit before I pick up the clowns. To avoid unwanted snacking.

I just want to grow the clowns out to 4-5 inches to keep them from being snacks in the big tank. But from what I've read that can take about a year for Clowns. Sometimes more.
