if they are larger loaches like clowns, yes.
just avoid species like sidthimunki and kuhlies. you might be able to get away with some queen botias, but leopards get prettty beastly so i wouldnt try it.
I went on ahead and bought a leopard ctenopoma. I have heard mixed stories. Some people say that they are very peaceful while others claim that they are aggressive. I put it with my clown loaches. I'm just hoping that it will be okay in the long run. Does anyone here have any experience with this mix?
Sorry I dont have a loach ctenopoma mix but I have a ctenopoma mixed with Angels and other peaceful cichlids. Sometimes the ctenopoma will get territorial but it has never done any damage, plus they arent very fast so I'm sure the clowns will be able to out manuver it.
