Anyone else ever notice their clown loaches locking jaws and the such. I've had cichlids that do this but never seen the clowns act this way. Only two of the seven were doing this and their colors were bleached out. The other five are looking and acting normal. 20151108_210818.jpg20151108_210808.jpg20151108_210814.jpg

Yup- normal behavior... clowns establish a pecking order with an alpha female leading the pack... this just means one of your subdominants is challenging the alpha. They usually do not cause to much damage. you will see this reffered to as "greying out" because of the color change.

+1. I usually have a squabble in my group every few months.
