Okay, I posted here a few days ago because I found what I thought was an ich outbreak. I saw 3-4 of my 6 Angelicus loaches flashing and one of them had a white spot on him. So treated with Rid Ich Plus for 5 days. After the first dose, the spot was gone and I saw no new ones. I continued to treat for a few more days as directed. My initial water change was 50% and then 25% changes before each new dose. I vacuumed the gravel very thoroughly each water change.
It has been 3 days since the last treatment and one of my loaches is flashing again (has been for about 24 hours). However, it is not nearly as bad. Before, the loaches were flashing every few seconds, like they were covered in the stuff. Now it is just one loach and it only flashing once or twice every fifteen to twenty minutes. Is there something wrong? I have seen no white spots on any of my fish and no one else, loaches or otherwise, is flashing. The ich attack I just experienced was the first I have ever experienced...if it was in fact ich.
Do loaches flash as part of their normal behavior?
