clowns, dojos, yoyo, horseface are the main eaters of snails.

kool. i was just going to ask about dojos. my LFS has dojos and clowns.

Agreed, some are fish eaters, some eat detritus, at least one eats bat poop.
Dojos mainly eat very young snails before the shells get to hard.

Botiine loaches in general will eat snails as they are avid snail consumers.

Long eel like loaches such as Kuhlis do not eat snails. However, Dojo's and Clown are the best for snail eatin'.

A queen botia does snail duty for me - always 3 or 4 bigger snails, but thats it... LOTS of tiny little shells all over though...
