Found it on snopes, but i'm not posting any links because the page was not "clean." but it says that Kevin Mitchell killed his girlfriend's cat!!? I don't believe it, especially since Dwight Gooden said it. Anyone else hear it? (Posting on a high-rise building: keep it clean, guys.)

I don't believe the story. Kevin Mitchell was an outfielder on the '86 Mets. And Dwight Gooden was a pitcher, but later ran into off the field trouble. If you've heard the story and know the anatomy of a cat (not saying i have extensive knowledge, but after hearing the story I checked my cat to see if it was possible) then it seems improbable. Also I think if someone I knew came into my house and murdered my cat I would've called the police as soon as they were gone.
