Local dog park pickup ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Might keep an eye on my local dog park. Those adult-size clown loach caves I'll need in 20 to 30 years should come from somewhere.

the things that piece of concrete has been through, years of dog piss.
Nah, it was a new piece of concrete that came into the park via the river this year.

it probably broke off of a drainage entrance to the river. Every single year with the flow of the river new things get carried down the river, large rocks and boulders get moved in the process of spring thaws

dog pee on it, yes! Years of dog pee, doubtful ??

New concrete isn't a good idea for use in a tank, but that piece sounds like it has got some mileage on it so you're likely good to go. A bit of algae and diatom growth on it and it will blend in nicely too.

I'm just grateful that this thread wasn't what I first thought...I was picturing some guy with gold chains and a 2-day growth of stubble...:)

That's nothing compared to the image I had in my head when I first saw the thread title.

In the UK it's law that you have to pick up your dogs mess in a bag and take it home with you to dispose of in the appropriate manner.

I had an image of Niki_up Niki_up proudly showing us a big bag of dog crap with a big cheesy smile on her face.

I'm so glad it was a piece of old concrete, lol.
