So I was trying to sell my 2 7-8" Pictus cats locally a guy told me he would take them that they were going in within Oscar in a 75 gallon. I said yeah they should be fine, the cats will stay on the bottom and pic up any left overs your Oscar doesn't eat. Was suppose to meet him this evening but just received a text from him saying " My wife went to the LFS and they told her that the catfish wouldnt be a good fit to go with our Oscar. So I'm going to have to pass, sorry."
I don't know what they are basing this on, maybe size of tank, but basically my LFS blocked my sale >O

Lol sounds like they based it on killing your deal for their profit in the chance they were able to convince the couple to buy from them.

Yep my exact thoughts! I cannot stand them this isn't the first time they've done something like this. I know more about freshwater fish than they do and they know that. Most the time I go in there and the owner asks me what kind of fish he has! Aggravating
