location of overflows

I am going to build a 6'x2'x1' tank in the spring and am wondering what the best place for the overflows are and how many should i have, or is this tank too short for overflows?

2 at both sides and at the back, so you wont even notice it. Oh yah, are you goona drill your tank or an overhaed overflow?

i think i am going to drill it but i am not positive about it yet what do you suggest

Do a drilled one. That's better than overheads imo. But drilling needs to be done by professional.

i should get the glass drilled before i assemble it, or does it matter

would be easier to have it done before, and you could get away with 1 on a tank of that size, basically you can put it anywhere you want

Hmm, is this a diy tank? Well in any case, it doesn't matter. As long as the one whose drilling the glass is a pro.

Put the overflow and underflow at the corner (as photo) and looks neater...

Please advize, i thought the purpose of the overflow was that then only the water from the top of your tank would enter the sump, cause some chemicals floated.??
