lock jaw????

what could cause lock jaws???

my GT and one of the biggest native i have are locking jaws and really hurting each other.... i dont wana lose neither ....just need some knowledge of what can i do in this type of situation.

How big are the fish (male / female?) and the tank.

Sounds territorial.

tank is 150G tall
IDK their gender..
but the biggest is my native and he/she already hit the 6"-7"
and my GT is 5"-6"

Agreed, some times taking out, adding, or rearranging objects (rocks,driftwood,plants) in the tank to change territories and settle aggression. If that doesn't work you might have to add a tank divider or take one of them out of the tank but some times if can go away with time.

ya im pretty sure cuz i rearrange every 2months to give it a new look and i just rearranged my 150g last Tuesday..

im just going to seperate them... im going to put my Green sunfish in my pond
