locusts

are locusts bad for arowanas or any type of fish for that matter? would crickets be beter?

I get crickets and locusts from the garden in my house.. my understanding is green is a cricket and brown is a locust.. i feed both to my aros.. but there are definitely exceptions.. i've tried prob a couple of times these rather large locusts and they have these serrated legs.. that is a pain.. best would be to snap those off and feed em.. my aros have spat these type of locusts while the legs where still on.. so take care..

yeah that was my main worry (legs of the locusts) but if thats the only real problem then ill just snap them off, gonna start breeding them
